How Do I use Mr. Venable's blog?
For starters, just being here on this page indicates you want to succeed this year. That's great! You will notice along the top that there is a list of topics that are important to both students and educators. So I will go through each of those categories for both sets of people.
For Students:
Always check the Assignments, Projects, and Reviews for information about those topics. Any new information will be marked with the following ***NEW*** mark. Projects will have an ***ONGOING*** mark to indicate that they are still coming due. You can also browse through the blog posts around the date you think the assignment or project was given, however, I may plan in advance, which could cause the date to be earlier than you are expecting. The other sets of information can be fun to watch or informational, as my goal is to increase your horizons.
For Educators:
If you are looking for ideas for lessons, I recommend checking the same pages as the students. However, if you are interested in some of the nuances I have discovered, or wish to send me information to help with particular facets of my own teaching, please check Pedagogy, Team Building, or Extensions and leave comments. Likewise, I am available through clicking on my profile.
For Parents:
The top two apply. I love to get feedback about assignments, and value your input, especially if you have expertise in the topic at hand.
